Events — Make Plans Real

Create events for anything — coffee, gallery openings, hikes, club nights. Set the date, time, location and description. Anyone nearby can discover and join your event.

Every event has a Group Chat — a shared space for everyone attending. Chat before the event, coordinate on the day, share memories after.

In the group chat, share photos directly from your camera roll, drop your live GPS location so everyone knows where to meet, and send messages to the whole group at once.

As the organiser, you manage who joins and can see the full attendee list. Attendees can leave at any time. Events appear on the Events tab for everyone nearby to discover.

Guild — LGBTQ+ Verified Businesses

Guild is OOmphh's built-in directory of LGBTQ+ friendly and verified businesses. Browse on an interactive Google Map or scroll the list — filter by Members, Partners or Venues.

Every Guild business has a profile with their description, category, star rating and community reviews. Tap any pin on the map to open their full listing.

Businesses, venues and individual creators can open their own Guild Shop — displaying their products, services, art or talent directly to the OOmphh community. Whether it's a fashion label, a perfume brand, a painter or a first-time entrepreneur — Guild gives every creator a platform to reach the community.

See something you love? Tap the buy button to express your interest — all transactions and arrangements happen directly between you and the business at your own discretion. When you meet in person to collect, use the Handshake to verify the meetup — both you and the seller earn Oomph Score. Leave a review to help the community find the best LGBTQ+ spots.

The Handshake — Verify Real Meetups

The Handshake is OOmphh's most unique feature. When you meet someone in real life — at a bar, an event, on the street — you can do a digital Handshake to verify the meetup.

One person generates a 6-digit code in the app. The other enters it in their app. The system uses GPS to confirm both users are within 50 metres of each other. If confirmed — the Handshake is verified and both users earn +25 Oomph Score instantly.

The Handshake has a 90-second window and expires automatically. It's private, secure and only works in person. No faking it from across town.

Handshakes are also used to verify in-person meetups with Guild businesses and creators — turning a real-world connection into a verified community moment.

Oomph Score — Your Real-World Reputation

Your Oomph Score reflects how active and engaged you are in the OOmphh community. Every real-world interaction earns you points.

Here's how you earn: Handshake verified meetup (+25pts) · Join & attend an event (+15pts) · Visit a Guild business (+10pts) · Complete your profile (+50pts) · Post a story (+5pts) · Refer a friend (+30pts).

Your score unlocks ranks: Bronze (0–499) · Silver (500–999) · Gold (1000–2499) · Platinum (2500+). Each rank comes with a visible badge on your profile — a signal to others that you're a real, active member of the community.

The higher your score, the more visible you become in Nearby. Your score is your reputation — built in the real world, displayed in the app.

Reviews — Support the Community

Every Guild business can be reviewed by the community. Tap any business, go to the Reviews tab and leave a star rating (1–5) and a comment up to 50 words.

Reviews are visible to everyone and help surface the best LGBTQ+ friendly spots in your city. Honest, community-powered, no bots.

Who's Nearby — Your World, Right Now

Open OOmphh and instantly see who's around you. The Nearby drawer shows real people, in real time, sorted by distance. Every profile shows their photos, vibe tags, distance and whether they're online right now.

Use filters to narrow down by age, what they're looking for, or their look. Travellers mode shows people who are visiting your city — perfect for connecting with someone passing through.

Tap any profile to see their full story — photos, bio, first sentences and their Oomph Score. Send a tap, start a chat, or just browse. No pressure, no algorithm deciding for you.

Remote browsing lets you search any city in the world — not just where you are. Planning a trip? See who's in Barcelona, Berlin or Bangkok before you even land.

Taps & Stories — Express Yourself

Taps are OOmphh's way of showing interest. Send a fire 🔥, a heart 💖 or any emoji tap to someone's profile. They'll see it in their Taps tab — and can tap back, start a chat, or just smile.

Stories let you share your OOmphh moment of the day — a photo, a place, a vibe. Stories are visible for 24 hours to everyone nearby. Like a story, reply with a message, or just watch.

Your Stories tab in the drawer shows all recent stories from your community. Tap any story to view it fullscreen, like it or send a message directly to the poster.

Chats — Private, Rich & Protected

Every conversation in OOmphh is private and direct. Chat with anyone you've connected with — send text, photos, full albums and even your live GPS location inline in the conversation.

Album sharing lets you create collections of photos and share them with a specific person for a set duration — 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.

Location sharing drops a live Google Maps pin inside the chat — tap it to open in maps and navigate straight to them.

Screenshot blocking is active in all chats. Your private moments stay private.

Safe & Private by Design

OOmphh is built with privacy at its core. Screenshot blocking is active everywhere — on profiles, stories, chats and albums. If someone tries to screenshot your content, the screen goes blank.

Content moderation is coming soon — AI-powered screening for profile photos and stories to keep the community safe.
